Draconis Prime is an extraordinarily beautiful, thriving multispecies world — the planetary home of Draconis STARFLEET and the beating heart of everything we are. Its landscapes range from ancient mountain ranges to vast restored oceans, from dense forest systems to cosmopolitan cities where dozens of species live and work together.
Draconis STARFLEET Headquarters is located here, on the surface of Draconis Prime, in the greater Asteria region. High above, in permanent orbit, Starbase Ascension stands watch — the gateway between this world and the wider galaxy.
OUR HISTORY
The Great Restoration
Centuries before the current era, extreme natural stellar activity severely damaged the planet's atmospheric and ecological systems. The world was wounded — but its native biosphere survived, clinging to life across continents and ocean floors.
A Federation-led scientific and ecological recovery effort brought specialists from many worlds together. This was not terraforming. The objective was to restore and protect Draconis Prime's indigenous ecosystems rather than remake the planet in the image of another world.
Over generations, the restoration community became permanent. Scientists became settlers. Specialists became families. That diverse, purposeful gathering of peoples eventually developed into the multispecies society found on Draconis Prime today — a civilisation born not from conquest or colonisation, but from care.
DRACONIS STARFLEET HEADQUARTERS
The Principal Planetside Centre
Draconis STARFLEET Headquarters is located in the greater Asteria region of Caer Ddraig — an open 32nd-century campus integrated with mountains, waterways, gardens and the surrounding environment rather than a militarised fortress.
The campus contains Fleet administration, diplomatic facilities, strategic operations, research institutions and ceremonial spaces. It is a place of purpose and welcome in equal measure — the organisational centre of Draconis STARFLEET and a symbol of what this community stands for.

A Genuinely Multispecies Society
Draconis Prime is not a Human colony. Its population includes peoples and cultures from across the Federation and beyond — Human, Andorian, Trill, Vulcan, Romulan, Klingon and many other identities coexist here without requiring anyone to abandon their own cultural heritage.
The values that define life on Draconis Prime are exploration, learning, cooperation, environmental stewardship and community. No single species owns or founded the modern Draconis identity. It belongs to everyone who has chosen to be part of it.
