The Fleet is the operational heart of Draconis STARFLEET — bringing together Starbases, Starships and Shuttles, and the members who make each Chapter a community. Whether you are drawn to command, science, engineering, communications, operations, medicine or simply the company of fellow travellers, there is a place for you among the stars.
Every Chapter, every mission and every department exists because members choose to take part. The Fleet grows with the community that shapes it.
WAYS TO SERVE
YOUR PLACE IN THE FLEET
STARBASES
Starbases are major Chapters and centres of community and activity within Fleet Operations. Members may serve in a wide range of roles and departments, helping to build an active and welcoming Chapter community.

STARSHIPS
Starships are Chapters whose members form a crew and a shared community — participating together in exploration, activities, missions and the continuing story of their vessel.

SHUTTLES
Shuttles provide an important starting point within the Chapter journey, allowing a developing group of members to begin building its own identity and community. A Shuttle may eventually progress towards commissioning as a Starship or Starbase.

MISSIONS
Take part in collaborative adventures, exploration and activities. Missions bring members together around shared goals — from scientific discovery and exploration to diplomacy and community activities.

Find an area that matches your interests and talents. The Fleet encompasses many areas of service — including command, sciences, engineering, communications, operations and medicine — and there is a place for every kind of member.

CHAPTER LEADERSHIP
TAKE THE BIG CHAIR
Ever wondered what it would be like to sit in the big chair?
In Draconis STARFLEET, members who want to explore Chapter leadership can work towards taking command in more than one way. You might begin with a Shuttle, build a crew and community around it, and work towards commissioning as a Starship or Starbase. Or you might make your home aboard an existing Chapter, contribute to its continuing journey and, when opportunities arise, stand for election to serve as its Executive Officer or Commanding Officer.
There is no single route to command — and command is never a requirement of membership. Your journey is shaped by how you choose to participate.
BUILD YOUR OWN JOURNEY
Begin with a Shuttle, build a crew and community around it, and work towards commissioning it as a Starship or Starbase.
RISE WITHIN A CHAPTER
Join an existing Starship or Starbase, contribute to its community and potentially stand for election as XO or CO when appropriate opportunities arise.
Command is never a requirement of membership. Every member chooses their own journey.
